¡Eptá! for children

Discovering the world together

Children approach the world with curiosity. Music helps them experience differences not as a divide, but as a source of enrichment.

The ¡Eptá! children’s concerts introduce young people playfully to various musical traditions. Instruments, rhythms, dances, and stories from different cultures come alive, inviting children to participate, marvel, and ask questions.
The children discover that every culture brings its own sounds, stories, and traditions – and that something shared can emerge from these differences.

Our three non-school-based children’s concerts in autumn 2027 foster openness, respect, and joy in shared experiences. They are aimed at school classes, families, and all children who wish to discover music as a language of encounter.

The concerts are designed for primary and lower secondary school classes, as well as families with children from approximately 5 years old. They last around 60 minutes and take place outside the school setting.

Songs and spoken words are delivered in several languages – understood everywhere where people clap, drum, and dance. Registration and detailed information on dates and venues will follow once the 2027 schedule is confirmed.

Based on years of experience with schoolhouse concerts by Ssassa, a new programme is being developed featuring songs and artists from ¡Eptá!

Further recordings and a spring children’s concert are currently in planning.
